Rooi Mahamutsa calls for Orlando Pirates focus

The Buccaneers hold a 1-0 lead going into the match after a hard-fought first leg at Orlando Stadium last night.

Mahamutsa, who was part of the team that lost the CAF Champions League Final in 2013 against Ahly, says they achieved their first objective – that of keeping a clean-sheet.

"For us going to Egypt, we know they are so disciplined when they are at home so it is going to be a difficult game for us," he says. "But if we put our focus there I think we can manage to come back with a win.

"Even at home they gave us a tough time, but we also gave them a tough time and that's why we managed to score a goal. It's an advantage for us going there and we are looking forward to scoring more goals there."

Mahamutsa also reiterated to his teammates that complacency must not be allowed to set in.

“After the game the guys were so happy, but I told them that they must not be too happy because there is still another game which we need to play.

"We are one leg in; we need to go there with full focus and win the match so that we can go to the final."
