Reyaad Pieterse backs SuperSport United to beat TP Mazembe

Matsatsantsa are currently en-route to the Democratic Republic of Congo, where they will face the Ravens in a Group D encounter in Lubumbashi on Sunday afternoon.

With this in mind, Pieterse believes they are well capable of upsetting the defending champions in their own backyard.

“We know it is not going to be easy playing against them at their home ground, but our plan is to go there and play the brand of football we've been playing and we will see what will happen next.”

The 25-year-old shot-stopper adds that their primary target is to advance from the group stages, and getting another away victory will therefore put them in a commanding position.

“We did well in our last match and we need to take that performance to Mazembe. If we can win this game away, and we make sure that we win all our remaining matches at home, then I think we can advance to the next round,” he concludes.
