Pirates' Patrick Phungwayo wants to put three past Al-Ahly in CAF Confederation Cup semi-final

Pirates will entertain Al-Ahly tonight in the first leg of the last four before confronting the Egyptians in their own backyard a week later.

"You need 3-0 at least," Phungwayo answered when asked what would be the best result at home.

"Egyptians almost play the same style of football so it's not going to be too different [to Zamalek]. We know what they are capable of and we'll work around that.

"It's always good to the an underdog. We're the underdogs but they know us, they won't come here expecting to win. It won't be easy for them."

Bucs have only netted twice in their previous four outings, and Phungwayo insists the team is working to rectify this.

"Honestly speaking I think luck is not on our side when we get to the final third. As a team we're working on it because you can't concede first and always have to recover. We need to score and kill teams quick because we get so many chances but we don't use them so I think if we score more goals it will be more easier for us to defend at the back."
