Mbabane Swallows coach Koki Vilakati disappointed with Platinum Stars counterpart Cavin Johnson

The Swazi side beat Stars 4-2 at Somhlolo Stadium on Tuesday to record their first win in the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup, having lost their first match to Sfaxien in Tunisia.

Cavin Johnson's side, who slotted one of three penalties yesterday, played to a 1-1 draw with MC Alger in their first pool match.

“We watched them in and out and it was easy to plan against them,” Vilakati tells snl24.com/kickoff.

”We took time to watch their game against Chiefs. We spotted their strong and weak points. I think the boys excuted the game plan very well. They also gave us a good run for our money.

”I was a little bit disappointed with my counterpart after he complained about the referee. I think they benefitted lot more from the referee’s decisions than us. They got three penalties of which personally I don’t believe they deserve the other two penalties.”

Swallows are set to host MC Alger in their next CAF tie at the same venue on June 2.

“We have set ourselves a mandate and that is to win our home games and see where it takes us,” Vilakati adds.
