Veteran midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane is suspended for the first leg, while young sensation Teboho Mokoena has been ruled out for the encounter due to injury.
Both players will be missed by coach Eric Tinkler, but the former Bafana Bafana midfielder can call on a couple of other players in his thin squad that has travelled to the DRC to do the job.
snl24.com/kickoff looks at the options Tinkler has going into the game against the defending Confederation Cup champions.
The national under-20 player is an exciting player who can do the job just as well as his Amajita teammate Mokoena. Unlike Mokoena though, Mbule has not played regularly in the first team and would need guidance from skipper Dean Furman to get him through what would arguably be the biggest game of his career. Mbule is a good passer of the ball and Matsatsantsa would need him to create opportunities for the likes of Jeremy Brockie and Bradley Grobler.
The right back is no stranger to playing in central midfield, having done so during his days at Jomo Cosmos. He’s got the engine to play in the demanding central midfield role and he also has an ability to pass the ball quite well. During his days at Cosmos, he got a few goals from midfield. His versatility will come in handy.
