Gavin Hunt to field strong side against Lightstars FC

Despite holding a comfortable 3-0 first leg advantage, the Clever Boys are still set to field a strong side in order to secure their progression in the tournament, according to coach Hunt.

"Of course we’ve got a good cushion and we won't take them lightly,” Hunt said. “We will play properly and treat them properly and play players like Bongani Khumalo ... and people who haven't play like (Onismor) Bhasera. We will put up a strong side and James Keene will play ninety minutes."

Meanwhile, Phumlani Ntshangase is set to return to the starting line-up, having been rested in the Clever Boys’ midweek win in KwaZulu-Natal, as Ben Mutshwari and Paseka Sekese started in midfield, earning much praise from their coach.

"I just left him out," Hunt explained of Ntshangase.

"I played Ben on Wednesday … I think Ben Mutshwari has been my best buy for my 35 years of football.

"20-year-old Sekese is fantastic player. The most important thing in football is that you’ve got to always have one player underneath, and we’ve got that.

“We’ve got a young, young side and are all ready to go for Saturday."

Kick-off is set for 18:00.
