The teams drew the first leg 1-1 at Bidvest Stadium, with the victor of the tie set to earn a spot in Friday's group stage draw in Cairo, Egypt.
Dauda played for Pirates from 2013 to 2014, and was on the bench providing cover to the late Senzo Meyiwa when Bucs won the Nedbank Cup under Vladimir Vermezovic.
Dauda, who helped Ghana reach the 2013 AFCON semi-finals in South Africa, is determined to see off the Clever Boys.
"Well, in football anything can happen and you can’t predict until it’s played,” Dauda told snl24.com/kickoff from Africa's most populous nation.
“We are working very, very hard to win the game and qualify for the group stages, which we know is not gonna be easy as we are playing a very good and tactical side that is Wits.
“But the advantage I have is that I know Wits [from] when I was with Orlando Pirates. They’re a good side with a very good coach. So when we came to meet them in the first leg I knew we were gonna have a tough match. So it is good that we have a vital away goal.”
Dauda is proud of his Nedbank Cup triumph with the Buccaneers.
"Yes, I have my medal and I’m proud of that,” he said.
“Winning the trophy with a team like Pirates is great although I didn’t play in that game. A team player always wants to win even if he is not in the team.
“Having said that, I’ll bring all what I have and then together with my teammates ensure we win this game. The club board also motivates us to bring back those past glory days of Enyimba with hard work.”
Kick-off is at 17h00 (SA time) at UJ Esuene Stadium in Calabar.
