Pirates will host the Egyptian giants in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals at Orlando Stadium, with kick-off at 18h00.
Bucs playmaker and captain Manyisa has been ruled out of the contest with a fractured ankle, while defenders Jele and Sangweni are suspended.
Thandani Ntshumayelo faces a late fitness test, but fellow defensive midfielder Issa Sarr is available again after missing his side's previous two games due to a family bereavement.
"It's sad about Oupa, that will be a big loss," De Sa tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"Eric [coach Tinkler] has got lot of injuries and suspensions. If he had his full team I will be pretty confident. But now he doesn't have regulars and guys with experience, it's going to be tough for him."
Despite the setbacks, De Sa believes the Sea Robbers can still get a positive result.
"Pirates at home can still get the results, but away will be a little bit difficult. But I believe they can make it."
De Sa guided the Buccaneers to the 2013 Champions League Final where they lost 3-1 on aggregate to Ahly.
