Three goals on either side of half-time saw Gavin Hunt's side enter the next round of the continental showpiece in emphatic fashion as they notched up a 9-0 aggregate win.
The Clever Boys ran ramapant over their Seychelles-based opponents as Sibusiso Vilakazi, Abednigo Mosiathlaga, Vincent Pule, Liam Jordan, Joaquim Lupeta and Dillon Sheppard all netted in an action-packed evening at the Bidvest Stadium.
It started out tough for the hosts as Vilakazi got a heavy knock in the fourth minute, but the midfielder retured to action after recieving treatment.
Vilakazi then opened the scoring in as early as the 12th minute when he capped off a solo run with a clinical finish beyond the Lightstars goalkeeper.
Four minutes later, Hunt was forced to take 'Vila' off for fear of any further injury to his already diminished attack, and brought on Amajimbos attacker Luvuyo Mkatshana.
The vistors were able to keep the home side at bay only until the 35th minute when Mosithlaga saw his free-kick decieve everyone inside the Lighstars box, including the keeper, to double Wits' lead.
Vincent Pule then added a third just six minutes before the break after Lupeta cleverly backheeled a pass to the winger inside the box.
Wits continued where they left off in the first half as half-time substitute Jordan banged home from close range, following a lovely tee-up from Lupeta again.
Lightstars won a free-kick in a dangerous area half-way through the second stanza after Onismor Bhasera broke down the counter-attack, but they were unable to find the target from outside the area.
Lupeta finally got onto the scoresheet in the 87th minute, before Sheppard capped off a dominant display with a goal on his 37th birthday birthday in added time.
Bidvest Wits XI: Barr, Bhasera, Lecki, Khumalo (Moerane 60'), Nhlapo, Gome (Jordan 46'), Sheppard, Pule, Mosiatlhaga, Vilakazi (Mkatshana 14'), Lupeta.
