Aubrey Modiba says SuperSport United want to go all the way in the CAF Confederation Cup

Matsatsantsa surprised many by reaching the Confederation Cup final last year, however they lost to DRC giants TP Mazembe. The men from Tshwane are back in the competition and started their campaign with a goalless draw against Angolan side Petro de Luanda in the first round, first leg clash away from home last week.

The sides meet in the second leg clash at Lucas Moripe Stadium tonight (19h00) and SuperSport are determined to get a victory so that they can progress to the next round.

“It’s going to be difficult, but we really want to go all the way to the final because we have been there before and we know that to expect. That experience will help us going forward. We will keep on pushing and make sure we get the required results.“

Modiba says SuperSport need to make their opponents feel that they are playing away from home.

“When we played them in Angola they made it difficult for us…the supporters, the way they played. They made sure that we feel that we are away from home and we just have to do the same. We have to dominate the game, make sure we score goals and create chances,“ the former Mpumalanga Black Aces player says.
