The Moroccans have decided to play their CAF Champions League home fixture at a neutral venue following their government's decision to now allow Chiefs entrance into the country due to Covid-19 regulations.
As a result, the Group C encounter will now be played at Ouagadougou Stadium in Burkina Faso, a venue Nomvethe knows very well as he was part of Jomo Sono's Bafana Bafana team that finished as runners-up in the 1998 Africa Cup of Nations.
"Normally their stadiums are beautiful. Some can be ugly but in some instances they don't cut the grass you see because they don't want you to come and grab three points easily," Nomvethe tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"But I believe if the Moroccans are in charge of the venue, everything will be right. I know Moroccans are used to good pitches, so you can't complain. But in this case it's fine for Chiefs because both teams are playing away.
"Though they are the hosts, the Moroccans, definitely it's like they are also playing away."
Kick-off is at 18h00.
