Chiefs took part in their first training session in Morocco on Thursday ahead of this weekend's much-anticipated Champions League final clash against defending champions, Al Ahly.
Speaking to the club's media team following practice, Ngcobo revealed that he and his teammates had settled in well ahead of the match and they were fully prepared to meet Pitso Mosimane's side head-on.
"We've had a great time and the training was very nice, we enjoyed ourselves," the 21-year-old said. "We're focused on the main mission now, preparing well and I think the mood is very good, so we're looking forward to the game.
"It's a bit hot but it's not bad, when compared to South Africa, but we're just focussed on the mission and we want to win. After that long flight, the training we had relaxed us and we have that energy again, so we're fresh now."
Chiefs' last competitive match was on 26 June against Wydad Casablanca, but Ngcobo, who has featured in 10 of Amakhosi's 14 Champions League matches this season, stressed that there would be no rustiness heading into the final.
"I'm ready, my body is ready," he added. "We've been training, although we haven't played a match for some time now, we have prepared very well and we're going to fight.
"I think we just want to play now but, obviously, we need to be careful. We need to execute the game plan very well, but yeah, we are prepared and we are ready to fight. We will finish it in 90 minutes."
