Kaizer Chiefs could be without the services of up to seven of their senior players when they face Petro Luanda in their CAF Champions League group C encounter.
Chiefs will host Petro in their third group stage fixture at FNB Stadium on Saturday evening at 18h00.
With goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune having been ruled out due to a family bereavement, coach Gavin Hunt could be forced into a couple more changes.
Other concerns the 56-year-old tactician will have is the availability of strikers Samir Nurkovic and Leonardo Castro, who are carrying niggles but face late fitness tests tomorrow, while Ramahlwe Mphahlele, Kgotso Moleko and Dumisani Zuma are ruled out.
"Obviously the captain Rama is out, he got sent off with a red card in the last game, so he won't play. Samir is struggling a little bit; Castro also, because he's played a lot of games. So, there's a few [concerns], we'll certainly make the final call by tomorrow.
"Moleko has come back from Covid testing [after a family bereavement], so he's had to isolate for a couple of days and he won't be involved. Zuma is still sick, he was sick yesterday, so he won't be available as well."
The club have also confirmed that Khama Billiat is progressing well in his recovery from a broken leg.
Amakhosi and Petro are both winless in the group, with Wydad Athletic Club and Horoya currently occupying the two qualifying spots for the quarterfinal.
