Chiefs defied all odds this season by reaching the final of Africa's elite club competition where they'll meet the reigning champions who are on course for a record tenth title.
With Pitso Mosimane chasing his second consecutive Champions League crown and third overall against a familiar foe, Mido has suggested their performance against Esperance proves it will be a routine victory for the Red Devils.
"Al Ahly produced a huge performance against Esperance and the victory must be credited to Mosimane first and then his players," Mido said on the Al Nahar Channel in reference to their 4-0 aggregate win.
"The Kaizer Chiefs match will be the easiest final for Al Ahly in their history [of the competition]. History will also remember that Al Ahly defeated Esperance home and away in the African Champions League semi-final without considering any other circumstances."
Ahly are scheduled to play four games in all competitions, while Chiefs will not feature in a competitive fixture before the final in Casablanca on 17 July.
