Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Arthur Zwane has joined senior trio Willard Katsande, Bernard Parker and Daniel Cardoso in raising his war cry ahead of tonight's clash against Wydad.
This is the first leg of the CAF Champions League semifinal and for all their claims of being big on the continent, this is the stage where they will have to prove if they can swim with sharks.
So, disregarding that the last time Chiefs played Wydad on the road they were humiliated 4-0, Zwane is finding reason to raise his chest instead of shivering with fear.
"I think the past counts for nothing simple because this is going to be a different ball game altogether. We know very well that we are playing against a good team. One of the best on the continent. We know what to expect and we will always do what we do best which is to give our best to make sure that we get the desired result," said Zwane, who will take charge alongside Dillon Sheppard in the absence of new coach Stuart Baxter.
Battle hardened midfielder Willard Katsande, whose style perhaps fits well into such fixtures, could be crucial tonight.
"This is a huge game for us, and we have so many internationals in the team so we will try to execute our game plan and get to the final. All we want is to keep on making history for this brand," said the soft-spoken Zimbabwean international.
Up for the challenge as well is captain Bernard Parker, who might not be scoring goals regularly anymore but he remains an influential figure in the dressing room.
"This is massive. This is huge. This is big. This is where we, as a team, can make history and it will be lovely for me to be part of this history in my 10th year [at Chiefs]. This is just for us to focus, it is important that everyone plays their role so that we get the best out of each other," he rallied.
For Daniel Cardoso, this is the stage that he has always desired, so he is embracing it whle remaining fully aware of the quality of the opposition.
"We are up against a great and they showed their class when we played them away, but we managed to beat them 1-0 at home. So, we are going into this encounter with a fresh mind. We are preparing for the team that we played away because we know that they didn't come with their strongest team to South Africa. We know what to expect," Cardoso added.
