Jwaneng Galaxy sends warning to Mamelodi Sundowns

Galaxy beat US Zilimadjou of Comoros 5-1 on aggregate to set up a first-round meeting with Sundowns, who handed a bye in the preliminary round.

Despite being regarded as one of the big teams on the African continent after winning the Champions League a few years ago, Galaxy spokesperson, Tankiso Morake says his team doesn't fear the Brazilians.

"We take it as a draw against any other champion in CAF. We are champions in Botswana and they are champions in South africa".

"We expected the competition to be more competitive as we go up and we are ready for any opponent," Morake tells snl24.com/kickoff from Lobatse.

When asked if watching Sundowns on TV almost every week will give his side an advantage, he added, "We watch different teams from across the world here in Botswana, we are not concentrated in watching Sundowns.

"What is most important is, we are going to field 11 players and they are going to field 11 players as well then the best team on that day will win."

The Brazilians are set to host Jwaneng Galaxy for return match in the first week of January next year.
