CAF Champions League draw: Kaizer Chiefs to face PWD Bamenda from Cameroon

After finishing runners-up in the Absa Premiership to Mamelodi Sundowns, the Soweto giants will start their journey in Africa against the Cameroon top-flight winners.

Chiefs have yet to qualify for the group stages of Africa's elite club competition in their history and only four games stand in their way of breaking their duck.

The first-leg tie will take place between 27-29 November, while the return leg is scheduled for 4-6 December, while the winner will face up against Girabola giants Primeiro de Agosto.

Paulo Duarte's side were exempt the preliminary round of the competition and await either Amakhosi or PWD in the first round, the final hurdle before the group stages.

Mamelodi Sundowns, Al Ahly, AS Vita, Esperance de Tunis, Horoya AC, Raja AC, TP Mazambe, Wydad AC and Zamalek SC are the other side's are straight into the first round of the upcoming edition of the Champions League.

Masandawana awaits the winners of the tie between Botswana Premier League champions Jwaneng Galaxy - who recently signed South African midfielder Ricardo Lourenco - and US Zilimadjou of the Comoros Islands.
