Egypt and Al Ahly star Mohamed El Shenawy has sent a clear warning to Mamelodi Sundowns for the 2019/20 CAF Champions League.
After making it to the final in the 2017 and 2018 editions of the Champions League, expectations were high for Ahly to conquer Africa again.

But their dream came to a remarkable halt in the quarter-final stage of the 2018/19 season, with Sundowns famously thumping them 5-0 at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium.
The 1-0 win in the return leg at the Borg Al Arab Stadium a week later brought little consolation and El Shenawy has made it clear - they have not forgotten.

With the Red Devils and Group B and Masandawana in Group C, the three-time Egyptian Premier League title winner admits they'd relish meeting the Absa Premiership giants in the knock-out stages.
"I did not wish on my own to face Sundowns, but all the players have the same desire," he said.
"It was not acceptable to go out of the Champions League like this, and we hope that this season will be better."
The Club of the Century kick off their Champions League group stage campaign with an away fixture against Etoile du Sahel on 29 November.
