snl24.com/kickoff has established details on the Senegalese referee at the centre of the controversy created by his handling of the 2022 World Cup qualifier between Ghana and South Africa.
Maguette Ndiaye awarded a dubious penalty to Ghana two weeks ago that has seen him engulfed in controversy.
The Senegalese's handling of the Group G World Cup qualifier prompted SAFA to file a complaint with FIFA requesting a replay of the match on allegations that it was unlawfully manipulated.
FIFA has now launched its own investigations on all the evidence brought to book by SAFA which Ghana didn't address in the beginning but instead went on a tirade of scorning South Africa.

This website can confirm that Ndiaye is the son former international referee Pape Moussa Ndiaye.
The 34-year-old is employed as a physical education teacher at Maurice Delafosse Public Secondary School near the Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar.
His earnings from his teaching job are approximate 430 000 XOF (approximately R14000) which is what educators with his profile get in Senegal.
Ndiaye has run the rules from the middle on the FIFA panel since 2017.
Since his controversial handling of the Black Stars and Bafana match, he has officiated the Senegalese Ligue One match between Generation Foot and Jaraaf on the opening week of the season on November 21 at the Stade Djiby Diagne.
He has not had any CAF appoints since the Bafana Bafana game.
Being amongst the six CAF candidate referees for next year's World our contact in Dakar doubts he would trade his morals for money.
"He is one of the best referees in Senegal, so I don't know why there has been so much controversy now. There have never been any issues with him here though I read that there were some issues in some CAF games he was involved in.
"I will be frank with you in that I don't have any doubts about his morality. For me, it is impossible that he would accept money to influence a match. I know the guy and his family, and I don't doubt his morality at all. He is a young referee who wants to go to the World Cup so there is no way that he would do such. He is married and his father was a former referee," says the source.
Maguette has officiated in World Cup qualifiers, FIFA Club World Cup, CAF Super Cup, AFCON finals, Under-20 World Cup, Africa Nations Championship, CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup games.
