SAFA president Danny Jordaan has landed himself a seat at the table of the Confederation of African Football at the governing body's executive committee meeting in Cairo on Thursday.
Jordaan has been named CAF's third vice-president behind chiefs Ahmad Ahmad, first VP Omari Constant of Congo and second VP Fouzi Lekjaa of Morocco.
The election was held after a new executive committee was voted into power, ahead of the closing ceremony and final of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations taking place on Friday evening.
@OmariConstant is now @CAF_Online’s 1st VP, @FRMFOFFICIEL’s Fouzi Lekjaa is 2nd VP, with @SAFA_net’s Danny Jordaan 3rd VP. Welcome to African football’s Game of Thrones!
