The South African Football Association on Friday dramatically warned in an official statement that it would consider its options after FIFA controversially dismissed its protest on the World Cup qualifier defeat to Ghana.
SAFA had lodged an official complaint after Bafana Bafana's controversial Group G 1-0 defeat against Senegalese referee N'Diaye Maguette for alleged match manipulation.
The comprehensive complaint by SAFA even included a statistical breakdown of Maguette's erratic decisions.
In a short response, FIFA rejected the protest as inadmissible to shatter Bafana Bafana's World Cup hopes.
The world football body's documented response, although short in summary, can now be revealed.
In revealing its decision FIFA said: to Declare the protest lodged by the South African Football Association on 15 November 2021 inadmissible.
"The judicial bodies may decide not to communicate the grounds of a decision and instead
communicate only the terms of the decision. The parties have ten days from receipt of the terms of the decision to request, in writing, the grounds of the decision, and that failure to do so will result in the decision becoming final and binding (art. 51 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code)," the statement read.

As the statement read, SAFA may now choose to request grounds of the decision within ten days of receipt of the initial decision before choosing to appeal.
