National under-17 coach Molefi Ntseki has named a 30-man squad

Ntseki will be using the time he has with the players in camp to prepare for the 2018 Cosafa Championships, CAF Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations and the qualifiers for the 2019 Fifa World Cup, set to be played in Peru.

“We have invited a few new players to this training camp and also looked into a few that we spotted last year but failed to use due to them not having travel documents,” Ntseki told the Safa website.

“I believe that following our first training camp in January 2018, we are on course with the core of the squad and players now need to show the hunger to be in the National set up as we get closer to the qualifiers.  We are hoping to make good use of these school holidays and hopefully get an international friendly match or two within this period; just to ensure that we maximize the time spent with the boys.”

Amajimbos will report for camp on Friday at the SAFA Technical Centre in Johannesburg. They will be in camp until April 8.
