Hugo Broos hoping for improved performance from talisman Percy Tau after disappointing Zimbabwe showing

Broos' youthful side face a decisive Group G clash against the Black Stars at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

Bafana know that avoiding defeat will be enough to finish as group winners and book one of the ten CAF playoff spots for next year's football showpiece in Qatar.

Speaking ahead of Sunday's clash, Broos said he is hoping for an improved display from attacker Percy Tau, after a disappointing showing against the Warriors.

"I expected a little bit more from Percy," Broos said.

"I thought that as he had played three consecutive matches in Egypt that he'd be heading in the right way.

"He scored, so I was hoping that his confidence would be there, but he didn't give us a good performance on Thursday.

"So I hope for him that the necessary motivation is there to do better because a good Percy Tau makes a difference for us.

Kick-off is at 21:00 (SA time).
