Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe headlines Deschamps' 23-man squad that will face the Ivory Coast on 25 March four days before a clash against South Africa.
The current world champions - ranked third in the FIFA world rankings - have named a strong squad including superstar names such as Paul Pogba, Antoine Griezmann, Ngolo Kante and Karim Benzema.
Speaking at his 23-man squad announcement, Broos stated that he was seeking improvements from his youthful Bafana side and doing this by challenging themselves against world-class opposition.
"After the World Cup qualifiers ended we thought about it and what we had to do for the upcoming March Fifa dates," Broos said.
"From the beginning, I said, 'Don't bring Botswana, I need big teams'.
"There was Ivory Coast and Burkina Faso, and then France came. I think France will play 80% or 90% of their top players.
"But I'm sure Didier Deschamps will also use the match to try some new players and combinations."
