Bafana Bafana midfielder Siphephelo Sithole has joined Portugal second division side CD Tondela from Os Belenenses SAD on a reported two-year deal.
The 24-year-old will be looking to climb back to the top flight of Portuguese football after sufferings back-to-back relegations with previous outfit B-SAD.
Similarly, his new side Tondela are in the hunt for promotion back to the Primera Ligue, having been relegated in the 2021/22 season and the signing for Sithole is part of the club's bid bid to bolster up the squad.

The KZN academy graduate amassed over 70 appearances for SAD and was also key figure for Hugo Broos new look Bafana since making his national team debut against Morocco in June last year.

Injuries' have limited Sithole's appearances in the national team to just five occasions, but the midfielder is expected to be part of of the Bafana Bafana squad that will compete in the Africa Cup of Nations to be played in January, 2024.
