Bafana Bafana attacker Percy Tau has won the Egyptian League title with Al Ahly, a sixth trophy for the South African since joining the Red Devils in 2021.
Al Ahly were officially crowned Egyptian champions on Monday night when their only title competitors Pyramids suffered a shock defeat to Ceramica Cleopatra.

Karim Havez opened the scoring for Pyramids in the 37th minute before Salah Mohsen equalised at the stroke of half-time. Mohsen scored the winner in the 83rd minute for the home side, effectively extinguishing pyramid's hopes of challenging for the title.
Before Pyramids' match against Cleopatra, Al Ahly had stretched the gap up to eight points with a 2-1 win over Al Ittihad on Saturday night.

For Tau, the league title is a first one since joining Al Ahly from Brighton in 2021 and overall sixth trophy with the African Club of the century in the same period.
Despite missing out on a large part of the first half of the season. The 29-year-old grew into a key figure for Marcel Koller's side this season, contribution nine goals and six assists.
