Ngwenya: 'DStv Prem too easy for Sundowns'

Former midfielder Manqoba Ngwenya believes the DStv Premiership has become too easy for Mamelodi Sundowns.

Ngwenya says the fact that the defending champions have already beaten both Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs in the league means they no longer have any competition in domestic football.

Sundowns lead the league standings with 13 points after five matches played, and Ngwenya believes this will make it difficult for other teams to catch up.

"Sundowns are a balanced team," Ngwenya tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"At the back they are solid, and Andile Jali is coming back now to full fitness and is complimenting Rivaldo Coetzee.

"So they are solid, if they don't concede any goals like so far, it shows these boys they mean business. It's too easy man for Sundowns.

"Pirates have a solid team as well but they just came short when it comes to Sundowns.

"Sundowns were just too strong and everybody was just firing and playing well. Kutumela also has come in and fits the team like a glove.

"It will take a lot to stop them, the two Soweto giants have already failed to do so.

"So I don't know who will contend now because the likes of Chiefs have their own problems they must deal with."
