Italy 1-0 Wales
Wales secured a spot in the last 16 at EURO 2020 despite losing to 1--0 to Group A winners Italy on Sunday.
The Italians dominated the early exchanges but had to wait until the 39th minute for the opening goal, with Matteo Pessina firing home his first of the tournament.
The second half did not get off the best of starts for Wales, who were reduced to 10 men in the 55th minute after Ethan Ampadu was given his marching orders for a foul on Federico Bernardeschi.
Gareth Bale did have a chance to bag a late equaliser but he volleyed over as Wales finished second in the group.
Switzerland 3-1 Turkey
Switzerland kept their round of 16 hopes alive with a 3-1 victory over Turkey.
Haris Seferovic broke the deadlock for the Swiss in the sixth minute after collecting a pass from Steven Zuber before rifling the ball into the far corner.
The Swiss got the second goal in spectacular fashion after 26 minutes when Zuber found Xherdan Shaqiri on the edge of the box and the Liverpool star blasted one into the top corner.
Switzerland will be hoping to be one of the best third-place finishers when the group stage ends on Wednesday.
