Mamelodi Sundowns landed the DStv Premiership title on Wednesday evening with a 3-1 win over SuperSport United in the Tshwane derby.
Two fresh faces from Sundowns saw Kermit Erasmus and Brian Onyango drafted into the line-up, as United started Thamsanqa Gabuza alongside Bradley Grobler.
With seven minutes gone, Matsatsantsa had to play with ten players as Guily Manziba picked up a straight red card on following a dangerous lunge on Sphelele Mkhulise.
Substitutions from either side before the midway stage saw Mbule removed for Ghampani Lungu, whereas Lebohang Maboe came on for Mkhulise.
Maboe put his introduction to good use on 33 minutes as he found space in the area to tap home a low cross from Aubrey Modiba for the opening goal.
The second goal came seven minutes later when a curling delivery from the right-side by Modiba caught goalkeeper Ronwen Williams unaware en-route to bustling the net.
Themba Zwane made it three for Sundowns two minutes before halftime when he charged in at the near post to send Maboe's cross into the roof of the net.
Masandawana should've had a fourth eight minutes following the break with a penalty from Zwane following a handball in the area on Keenan Phillips, but Williams saved.
SuperSport meanwhile watched their best attempt to a breakthrough with 12 minutes to go cracked the post from a powerful first-time shot in the area by Bradley Grobler.
Matsatsantsa did grab a consolation three minutes from time when a half-volley from Teboho Mokoena arrowed into the top-corner.
A second nearly came through a header from Lungu, but Onyango smothered before a hand injury saw him removed and Brian Onyango playing the remaining minutes in goal.
However, this didn't trouble Sundowns, who held firm to claim the win and a fourth straight league title in the process.
