AmaZulu head coach Pablo Franco Martín bemoaned his side's missed chances after the defeat to Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday evening.
Usuthu are yet to score in the league after four matches and conceded for the first time after going down 3-0 to Chiefs, who scored through a brace by Pule Mmodi and another by Edson Castillo.
Martin says it was difficult to come back against Amakhosi after they got an early goal, as they knew they had quick players to hurt them on transitions.

"Ja, we're having so many problems to score goals and again today when we're creating more chances than ever, we're not converting," Martin told SuperSport TV.
"We need to be solid in defence but what we showed, playing against these kind of teams and when you're conceding it's difficult to come back.
"Anyway we keep trying, we controlled the first-half but when we reached the last third we were not very good in our decision-making," he said.
"Anyway, we had three chances to get the equaliser and then we started the second-half, we dominated completely the game, we knew in the first transition we're going to suffer because they have quick, very fast players."
Martin went on and said they lack the killer instinct upfront but they had no choice but to open the game up after going a goal down.
"What we're lacking is this determination, we're not clinical in the last few meters and from there we concede the second goal and from there we take more risks, we were not balanced and we concede more counter-attacks," he said.
"Even with a deflection from a good header we concede the third one and from there (there was nothing left in the game). We have the next important one, we need to win, no matter what.
The former Real Madrid coach did not want to blame Moremi for missing chances and says he could have accepted another goalless draw if they were not scoring.
"It's not only Moremi, I think he had three chances where he's shooting with the goalkeeper already on the ground," he continued.
