Defender Thendo Mukumela reportedly remains frustrated in Durban while in protracted discussions with the AmaZulu hierarchy to reach an agreement over a settlement amount with the club.
Mukumela is among several other players, including Mswati Mavuso and Siphelele Maduna, who were deemed surplus to requirements under head coach Pablo Franco at Usuthu.

Mavuso is still believed to be in talks to reach an agreement to terminate the remainder of his contract, while Maduna's proposed move to join Moroka Swallows has collapsed.
Mukumela is currently training with the AmaZulu reserve team while waiting to finalise his settlement.

"Thendo is still an AmaZulu player. He is training with the club's development team," a source tells KickOff.
"He is under contract and still receiving his salary at the club."
Usuthu are currently also assessing potential deals to sign Kenyan striker Vincent Oburu.
The 25-year-old striker, who also can play as a winger, is currently on the books of Zesco United in Zambia.
