Major boost for Chiefs ahead of Usuthu clash

Kaizer Chiefs have received a major boost ahead of their Carling Knockout clash against AmaZulu FC on Saturday.

Usuthu dangerman Bongi Ntuli who always finds a way to score against the Soweto Giants is set to miss the big encounter.

Ntuli has always been a thorn in the Amakhosi side scoring vital goals.

This will surely come as a relief for Chiefs who are desperate for a piece of silverware.

"Yes, I'm injured, so I'm going to miss tomorrow's match, but it's not a major thing, I will be back I think in the next match," Ntuli tells KickOff.

"This is my first week on the sidelines.

"We are ready for Chiefs; our chances of beating Chiefs are huge.

"Remember in our last meeting they beat us so we will be going for revenge. I'm very confident we will win tomorrow's game.

"Every time we face Chiefs we want to do well because it's a big game. Tomorrow, I feel luck will be on our side.

"Chiefs they are a big team so facing them is still scary.

"They have quality players in their team, and they also have numbers in the stands, so we have to give them the respect that they deserve.

"Though we are going to win, this is going to be a difficult game for both teams."

AmaZulu will now have to rely on the likes of Junior Dion, Victor Letsoalo and Augustine Chidi Kwem for goals.

The two teams will play their last 16 stages match at FNB Stadium tomorrow at 18:00.
