A former Esteghlal FC player has taken aim at the club's former manager Pitso Mosimane, insisting that the South African "ruined" the Iranian club.
Mosimane is widely regarded as a divisive figure at Esteghlal following his short stint at the club, which lasted just three months.

The South African coach left the Iranian side in acrimonious fashion, terminating his contract due to issues such as contractual non-payments, among other grievances.
The club’s results did not necessarily meet expectations, with the 60-year-old departing with a record of three wins, seven draws, and four defeats in 14 matches in charge, according to Transfermarkt.
Since his departure, Mosimane has faced no shortage of criticism, and it is also believed that the former Mamelodi Sundowns tactician has lodged a complaint against the Tehran-based club with FIFA.
Former Esteghlal player Pirouz Ghorbani has now labelled Mosimane a "weak" coach.
Speaking during a television broadcast on Footballi.net, Ghorbani said: "A coach, if you provide him with the right environment, will succeed. It’s not rocket science.
"Football has basic principles — know them and apply them. Of course, we have both strong and weak coaches. Let’s stop dividing them by nationality.
"Weak is weak, like Mosimane, in my opinion, he ruined the team. That’s my view."
