According to Sky Sports, Barça have an option to make the deal permanent at the end of his loan for a fee of £26 million (R616 million).
The move brings a temporary end to Rashford's well-publicised fallout with United boss Ruben Amorim, who chose not to work with the player during his first three months at the club.
This marks Rashford's second loan spell in as many seasons, having been sent out to Aston Villa in January 2025 for a six-month stint.
Rashford will become the first English player to represent Barça since Gary Lineker, who played for the club between 1986 and 1989.
