Cavan Sullivan, a highly-rated talent who has already agreed to join Manchester City from Philadelphia Union when he turns 18, has shared his club's 2025 season ambitions following the appointment of Bradley Carnell.
Last week, Carnell was unveiled as Philadelphia Union's new head coach after signing a two-year deal.
The club endured a disappointing 2024 Major League Soccer campaign, finishing fourth from the bottom of the Western Conference.

Carnell is now tasked with turning the team's fortunes around, and one of his players has offered insight into the club's expectations for 2025.
Sullivan made American football history in July 2024 when he became the youngest debutant in MLS history, playing his first senior professional match at the age of 14 years, nine months, and 20 days, according to Transfermarkt.
Now 15 years old, the midfielder has already agreed to a $5 million (R95 million) move to Premier League champions Manchester City. He is expected to play a more significant role in Philadelphia's first team this year and has outlined the club's goals for the season, according to Goal.
Speaking at MLS Media Day, Sullivan shared his aspirations for 2025:"Obviously, I have goals of playing more, being a consistent player, but as a team... new coach, new players, that's a new year.
"We want to redeem ourselves for 2024. I think we let down ourselves, the organisation, and more importantly, the city of Philadelphia.
"So yeah, 2025 is a big year, and I'm looking forward to it, but we're going for the MLS Cup."
Philadelphia Union have never won the MLS Cup, though the club did secure the MLS Supporters' Shield in 2020.
