The July edition of KICK OFF magazine – one packed with exclusive news, interviews and features - hit the shelves on Friday, June 27.
Much to the disbelief of many, what with the widely held notion of a print media industry headed for the grave, the print edition of KICK OFF relaunched towards the end of May, with Kaizer Chiefs legend Itumeleng Khune gracing the cover.

There was to be a twist, though, a touch of inventiveness.
This is where rugby enters the mix. Yes, you heard that right – one half of the publication is made up of soccer content, while rugby covers the other half. Furthermore, there are two front covers on either side.
With both sporting codes enjoying so much support in South Africa, not to mention the Springboks' success accompanied by an upswing in Bafana Bafana's fortunes, it was hardly surprising that the magazine has been warmly welcomed back by all and sundry.
For that, we remain eternally grateful.
Grateful to all who went out and bought their own copy, at only R19,50.
Thankful, too, for the feedback shared with us on social media, via email and over the telephone.
For a lot of readers and soccer fans out there, KICK OFF brings back lots of memories, good memories at that. Be it an uncle who introduced you to the magazine, or the posters your younger self could not get enough of, or some of the iconic covers that you still remember - we love hearing about it all.
The soccer cover of the latest edition boasts Lucas Ribeiro Costa, who sat down with senior writer Lovemore Moyo for an interview after a phenomenal season with Mamelodi Sundowns.
Whether you want to have a laugh with AmaZulu FC, or find out what makes Cape Town City goalkeeper Darren Keet tick at home, or learn about a South African kid destined for Bundesliga stardom, or to discover what an Amakhosi founding father’s Best XI is… this is one not to be missed.
