Bafana Bafana and Al Ahly star Percy Tau was named COSAFA Men's Player of the Year at the awards ceremony on Thursday evening.
Tau was key figure in Al Ahly's CAF Champions League triumph last season, after registering the most goal contributions in the competition last term.
The forward's contributions were already recognised by CAF after he was named the Men's Interclub Player of the Year.

Tau's former team Mamelodi Sundowns also picked up a few accolades, after coach Rulani Mokwena picked up the Coach of the Year.
Mokwena was not the only South African coach to walk away with an award, after Banyana Banyana tactician Desiree Ellis was named Women's Coach Of The Year.
