Former Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic has landed a new head coach role with an African giant.
The 55-year-old had been without a job since parting ways with Libya in September following the team's slow start to the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
However, the Serbian is back in African football after being appointed head coach at Sudanese giants Al-Merrikh.

"Today, Thursday, Al-Merreikh signed a contract with Serbian coach Milutan Sredojevic, known as "Micho", as technical director for a year and a half, assisted by Serbian assistant coach Dusan Stojanovic, Frenchman Frank Blin as physical trainer, and Algerian Hajj Musa Bahilel as performance analyst," the club tweeted.
Sredojevic takes over from former Kaizer Chiefs tactician Giovanni Solinas, who was sacked by the Sudan outfit following a string of poor results.
Some of Sredojevic's other jobs on the African continent include Pirates, Young Africans, Uganda, Rwanda and Egyptian Premier League giants Zamalek.
