Khama Billiat has made one more step towards securing a first trophy since lifting the league title with Mamelodi Sundowns in 2018, after Yadah FC progressed to the quarter-finals of the Chibuku Super Cup.
Having lost two league matches on the bounce, Yadah went into Saturday's encounter hoping to put their league woes on pause.
Billiat returned to the matchday squad after missing out in the league tie against TelOne, where his side were defeated 3-1.
The 34-year-old's presence was felt, but he would return against Chicken Inn and be instrumental in helping The Miracle Boys go ahead via Blessed Ndereki after just 15 minutes.

The visitors replied with just nine minutes left to play through Substitute Hwata Makopa, sending the match to a penalty shootout, where Yadah secured a 5-4 victory.
Billiat, Prosper Kafilapanjila, Francis Mustafa, Evans Rusike and Mathius Kigonya all slotted their spot-kicks home.
Winning the Chibuku Super Cup would be the former Kaizer Chiefs man's first trophy in five years, having last touched silverware with South African powerhouse Mamelodi Sundowns before making the switch to Naturena in 2018, where his five-year spell yielded no trophies.
As a result, he is remembered as being among the players that experienced an enduring silverware drought at the Soweto giants, and will be hoping for some cup success to erase that memory.

Before their quarter-final tie though, Yadah will have to turn their attention back to the Castle Lager Premier League, where Chegutu Pirates lie in wait.
'Gaucho' has done his bit to help Yadah remain competitive this season, scoring nine goals and registering six assists in 21 appearances.
Yadah sits 13th on the table and a win on Saturday against Pirates would take them up to 10th.
