Kopo vs Riveiro: Round Two, via Orlando

Pirates emerged winners during of the highly charged encounter, beating Chippa 3-1 to qualify for the Nedbank Cup final set for June 1 at Mbombela Stadium.

Commenting rather on on-field matters, Riveiro believes it will be another tight game when his charges play host to a team they just knocked out of a cup competition, as they now meet in a DStv Premiership encounter in Soweto on Wednesday.

"I don't think it will be too different from (Saturday) game. The reward is different, it is not the same [as] in the semi-final and the three points, but for us, it's another final.

"We want to be in second position at the end of the season and [for that] to be possible, we know we have to win every point.

"Stellenbosch is doing well, they are in good form and they are pushing us to the limit and making sure that we fail. We can't drop points until the end of the season. The way Chippa is going to approach is something not on my side, it is what the opponents will decide.

"We were in the same scenario for a few weeks when we played AmaZulu in the quarter-finals and three days [later] we hosted them in Orlando. It was a difficult game because after these 90 minutes [in the cup], we know each other better than before.

"I am sure it's gonna be a tight game and will be determined by small margins," said Riveiro.
