Head coach Molefi Ntseki has addressed reports linking Kaizer Chiefs with the potential signing of Stellenbosch midfielder Sibongiseni Mthethwa.
The Stellies midfielder is understood to be a long-time target for Amakhosi who have in search of a defensive midfielder since the departure of Njabulo Blom in December.

Both Chiefs and rivals Orlando Pirates are believed to have made recent inquiries for Mthethwa's services and Ntseki did very little to convince journalists otherwise, insisting that he 'would love' to have the 28-year-old in the Chiefs squad.
"I think the most important thing is that whenever you see a good player elsewhere, people will always associate that player with Kaizer Chiefs," Ntseki said at Chiefs' media day on Thursday.

"In our player audit, we have put in so many players even though we have never gone public about those players.
"It's normal for a team like Kaizer Chiefs to look for quality players to strengthen the team. The name of [Sibongiseni] Mthethwa is making the rounds about him coming to Kaizer Chiefs and there have been other players that were spoken about coming to Chiefs."
"But the most important thing is he is good quality player, we would love to have him anytime, whenever he is available or whenever we have the resources to bring him in but he is a good player."
Mthethwa also received some praise from Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro after the Buccaneers' 2-1 win over Stellies in the first leg of the MTN8 semi-final.
"I've said on many occasions that I don't really like playing against 10-men, Riveiro said after the match.
"It gives the opposition the feeling that they need to run more, I think [Sibongiseni] Mthethwa ran 30 kilometres today at least. Everyone starts to do double than what they usually do."
Meanwhile, Amakhosi return to DStv Premiership action on Saturday when they host Royal AM at FNB Stadium.
Kick-off is at 17:30.
