Former Bafana Bafana coach Owen Da Gama says Hugo Broos' remarks about not selecting Kaizer Chiefs players has shown how much he undermines South African football.
Last week, when announcing final squad for the upcoming international break, the Belgian tactician said none of the Chiefs players deserve to be in the squad at the moment.
Brooks has since picked Chiefs attacker Pule Mmodi as a replacement for the injured Themba Zwane.

"We've got to find a way to get our place in this country, and how to select the best possible team," Da Gama tells KickOff.
"A foreign coach coming in and not understanding our culture as well as he thinks he understands it.
"This thing of saying Chiefs players are not good enough to play for our national team, you are simply undermining football in our country. This guy is undermining football in our country. As a national team coach, you don't do that, you look for better reasons.
"I don't care who you are in football, you must be humble, you must never undermine anybody in football.
"I just get the feeling that we are being undermined. You can't say at a big institution like Chiefs, no one player is good enough to play for Bafana and all this type of nonsense.
"We are talking to a club that is in the semi-finals of the top eight, and also in the top bracket of the log table.
"A foreign coach coming in and not understanding our type of football, I think it's important to do like Cricket does.
"There has to be a panel of selectors that will select 30 players, and Broos must only select from those 30 players.
"Look at Lyle Foster, he is part of our assets and he is setting England alight, and just recently this Bafana coach was saying Lyle is not playing, he is not doing this, he can't select him...Yes, he might be not playing but he is training at the highest level with some of the best players in the world, and you are denying him to play for the national team?
"Yes the national team coach will never satisfy everybody, but Lyle Foster should have been in the Bafana Bafana a long time ago."
Bafana will play friendly matches with Botswana and the Democratic Republic of Congo in September.
