Mamelodi Sundowns will still have a huge decision to make within the next week as interest continues to test their resolve for in-demand Nigerian striker Etiosa Ighodaro.
Ighodaro spent the 2022/23 season on loan at Chippa United where he scored an impressive 11 goals in all competitions and finished as one of only six attackers in the DStv Premiership to reach double figures.

The 22-year has now returned to Sundowns where he still has an existing contract.
Sundowns have previously resisted the temptation to cash-in on Ighodaro, despite never featuring in the first-team since being recruited.
The latest transfer offers in an attempt to pry the in-form attacker from Chloorkop originate from Serbian duo Partizan Belgrade and Novi Pazar that has been swiftly rejected with the Brazilians insisting that Igdodaro is not for sale.
Last year, Partizan tabled a lucrative offer in the region of R8.5 million that Sundowns rejected before allowing Ighodaro to move out on loan to Chippa United in search of first-team action where he excelled.
The ongoing transfer interest originating Europe remains alive with local clubs also following the situation, led by Chippa.
However, KickOff has been informed that Noth African giants Raja Casablanca are keen to complete a transfer but that will only be determined by the club's budget.
Angolan champions Petro Luanda have also shown interest and are keen to explore a loan deal.
Ighodaro has played for M Tigers (ABC Motsepe League), TUKS (Motsepe Foundation Championship) before getting into double figures in only his first season in the DStv Premiership playing for a struggling Chippa side.
Another issue disadvantaging Ighodaro at Sundowns is the foreign quota.
Sundowns have Brazilian winger Lucas Ribeiro Costa and Argentine midfielder Junior Mendieta as new foreign additions while they ended last season with Marcelo Allende (Chile), Erwin Saavedra (Bolivian), Abdelmounaim Boutouil (Morocco), and Abubeker Ahmed Nasir (Ethiopia).
Only five players can be registered as foreigners.
