Lionel Messi has opened up about the icy reception he received from sections of the Paris Saint-Germain supporters this season.
Following PSG's disappointing showing in the UEFA Champions League, the Argentine got the bulk of the boos at the Parc des Princes whenever his name was read out before Ligue 1 games.

Messi will leave the French giants when his contract expires at the end of the month, but he did admit that the majority of the fans did support him from the very beginning.
"At first it was great, I received a lot of encouragement as I've often said, but then people started to treat me differently, some of the Paris fans," Messi told RMC Sport.
"The majority, on the other hand, treated me as well as they did at the start.
"There was a rift with a large section of the Paris crowd. Of course it wasn't my intention.
"But these are things that have already happened with Mbappé and Neymar too, it's their way of doing things.
"But I still remember all those people who supported me, as they did at the start."
