Bayern Munich 3-0 FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona won't be in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League for the first time in 17 years after going down 3-0 to Bayern Munich in their final match in Group E on Wednesday.

Barca needed a win to advance to the knockout stages, but a slow start saw Bayern race into a two-goal lead in the first half through Thomas Muller and Leroy Sane.

The Bavarians compounded matters after halftime when Jamal Musiala added a third to see them to six wins from six in the group whilst demoted the Catalans to the UEFA Europa League.

Manchester United 1-1 BSC Young Boys

A make-shift Manchester United played to a 1-1 draw against BSC Young Boys in their final group stage clash at Old Trafford .

It was the first time the Red Devils played in this tournament under interim manager Ralf Rangnick, and a sumptuous finish from Mason Greenwood had them off to a flyer.

An equally telling finish from Fabian Rieder late in the first half brought the Switzerland outfit back on level terms, with United topping Group F.

Villarreal CF and Atalanta will contest second spot in the group's other clash tomorrow after it was called off this evening due to inclement weather conditions.

RB Salzburg 1-0 Sevilla

RB Salzburg entered the knockout stages ahead of Sevilla with a 1-0 win over their Spanish counterparts at the Red Bull Salzburg Arena.

Swiss-born Noah Okafor netted the all important goal earlier in the second half, whilst the visitors had to play the rest of the match with ten players following Joan Jordan's dismissal.

SL Benfica 2-0 Dynamo Kyiv

Two first-half goals was all SL Benfica needed to gain entry into the round of 16 through a 2-0 victory over Dynamo Kyiv at the Estadio da Luz in Group E.

Roman Yaremchuk bagged the opening strike from a pass by Joao Mario before Gilberto made the tie comfortable towards the halftime interval.

The Portuguese giants managed to hold onto their advantage for the rest of the match and secured second spot ahead of the mighty FC Barcelona.

VfL Wolfsburg 1-3 LOSC Lille

Ligue 1 champions LOSC Lille qualified for the knockout stages with a 3-1 victory over VfL Wolfsburg at the Volkswagen Arena and also managed to win Group G.

Turkish international Burak Yilmaz opened the tally earlier in the first half and saw strikes from Jonathan David as well as Angel Gomes in the second half rubber-stamp the victory.

Wolfsburg put up a late fight back through Renato Steffen's finish, but the night belonged to the French champions.
