Pavel Kaderabek scored late in second-half time to earn ten-man Hoffenheim a 2-2 draw against Olympique Lyonnais in Group F on Wednesday night.
Nabil Fekir grabbed the lead for Lyon in the 19th minute and Tanguy Ndombele doubled the lead for the French side in the 28th minute.
Hoffenheim were reduced to ten men six minutes after the break but despite the setback, the German outfit pulled a goal back through Andrej Kramaric in the 65th minute and Kaderabek snatched the equaliser at the death.
Lyon are second in Group F with seven points while Hoffenheim are third with four points, all from four games.
Bayern Munich moved closer to securing a spot in the knockout stages of the Champions League after sinking Greek side AEK Athens 2-0 on Wednesday night in matchday four in Group E.
Robert Lewandowski netted a brace for the Bavarians, scoring in the 37th minute through a penalty before he made it 2-0 in the 61st minute.
Bayern have now accumulated ten points, occupying pole position with two games to go in the round-robin stage.
Athens meanwhile, are bottom of Group E with zero points.
Dusan Tadic salvaged a 1-1 draw for Ajax Amsterdam against Benfica after scoring in the second stanza to cancel out Jonas’ opener in the first stanza in a Group E match on Wednesday night.
Jonas opened the scoring for the Portuguese outfit in the 29th minute while Tadic struck a minute after the hour-mark to earn a point for the Dutch side.
Ajax are second with eight points, two points behind Bayern Munich in Group E while Benfica are third with four points.

The Spanish side sit top of Group G with nine points, equal with Roma who beat CSKA Moscow 2-1 on the same night.
On the other hand, the Czech Republic outfit are rock bottom with just a single point from four matches.
