Pogba, 25, has been earmarked as Juve's next marquee signing in their relentless pursuit to dominate European football.
Reports in Italy have suggested the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo has swayed the Frenchmen into the 'project' being built by the Serie A giants.
However, his relationship with manager Jose Mourinho, which appeared to be the key factor of any potential exit, has improved, with the Red Devils slowing gaining momentum to their season.
While Allegri tried to remain diplomatic when quizzed about the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner, he cracked a joke about his availability at the Allianz Stadium.
"Talking about Pogba is useless," he said ahead of the Manchester United clash on Wednesday.
"Like all players who are not part of Juventus, I can not and I do not want to talk about players from other teams.
"Pogba is young and still has room for improvement, now he is a player of Manchester and unfortunately on Wednesday, we have to meet him.
"If he does not come it would be better."
