Manchester United's Jose Mourinho on Alexis Sanchez & Real Madrid talk ahead of Juventus clash

Speaking ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo's return to Old Trafford in the UEFA Champions League, Mourinho was asked about the uncertain future of the club's highest paid player - who's yet to make an impression since his arrival.

Mourinho then moved on to deny speculation that he may be keen to jump ship from the struggling Premier League side, despite all the criticism and pressure he's faced since the indifferent start to the season.

"No, I'm happy here. I'm happy to see out my contract. I would like to stay after my contract at Manchester United.

"United's form was shown in the past two matches. The way we want to play, the way we can play was shown in the past two matches.

"Let's try to do it again."

And in reference to the homecoming of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, he added: "I thought Cristiano is on a level where he does not need these questions and these answers.

"He is one of the best players of all time. Nobody can tell different than that. He is one of the best of all time. It is as simple as that."
