Serie A match report Juventus v Sassuolo

Juventus went for experience in Gianluigi Buffon and Alex Sandro at the back. Stefano Turati made his debut for the visitors who were without star man Domenico Berardi.

The Old Lady had prior won the last seven matches between the two sides, with a notable 7-0 victory at the Allianz Arena two seasons back springing to mind.

Turati was given his first top flight save inside eight minutes when Emre Can fired in from the edge of the area after a low pass from the right side.

Sassuolo soon succumb to pressure when Leonardo Bonucci feed a lose pass close to the area to drill into the bottom left corner of the net following the 20th minute mark.

The away side levelled inside a minute after Jeremie Boga played a one-two on the far side of the area to dink over a down-trotted Biguain from point-blank range.

Juventus were behind straight after halftime after poor defending at the back from Matthijs de Ligt found Francesco Caputo, who made no mistake from the edge of the box.

Mauricio Sarri made a double change in pursuit of the equaliser, calling on Paulo Dybala and Blaise Matuidi for Can and Federico Bernardeschi respectively after 54 minutes.

Juve drew level from the spot on 68 minutes when Romagna went sliding in on Dybala in the area, prompting Cristiano Ronaldo to send Turati the wrong way from 12 yards out.

A half-volley right in the area from Aaron Ramsey in the last four minutes almost give Juve the points, but Turati made a double save to force a share of the spoils.
