Following the Bianconeri's disappointing elimination from the UEFA Champions League earlier in the month, new manager Andrea Pirlo has made it clear he will be signing reinforcements ahead of next season.
It was previously reported that Pirlo, who was appointed following Maurizio Sarri's sacking, had recognised the need to improve the quality of his squad in order to keep hold of Ronaldo after the Portugal superstar was linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Reports across Italy and Spain now claim that the club's Player of the Season has put forward a suggestion to his new boss by requesting that Juve sign former Los Blancos teammate Karim Benzema.
The Frenchman made 342 appearances alongside Ronaldo at Real, which is the most by any of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner's teammates throughout his career, and has become the main man at the Santiago Bernabeu following the Portugal captain's departure.
Should a move materialise, the 32-year-old would likely serve as a direct replacement for Gonzalo Higuain, who is expected to leave in the coming weeks, and feature alongside Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala in a star-studded attacking trident.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo and La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus would struggle to finance a deal for the former France international, while Benzema himself is said to be resistant to the idea of leaving the Spanish capital.
